- Here’s an overview of using AVS4You Video Editor 4:
- To start AVS4you Video Editor 4, go to your Start button and under All Programs, find AVS4YOU. Choose Video, and then AVS Video Editor.
- AVS Video Editor will create a new video project for you automatically. If you already have a project that you’re working on, the program will open your most recent project.
- Set the project and video parameters.
- Import the media files that you want to include in your movie (videos, audio tracks and images) or you can capture your video from your video camera.
- Drag the imported or captured video to the Timeline/Storyboard Area. This sets up each video clip in your movie and so you can edit them.
- Edit your movie by adding transitions between video clips in the Timeline/Storyboard Area.
- Add video effects to your video and edit them as you like.
- Add text captions to your movie wherever you like.
- You might want to add a video overlay effect, dub in a new soundtrack ,or record your own voice from a microphone plugged into your computer.
- When you are finished editing, you will need to save your video into a file. You can also record it on a DVD or CD, upload it to a hand-held device, or even create a DVD menu for it just like the pros. or record it onto a disc or upload it to a portable device of yours. You can also create a DVD menu for your movie, just like the pros do.
